Wonda: The Iconic Kopi Tarik Integrated

Wonda took on coffee giant Nescafé with a campaign that reminded Malaysians of the true taste of kopi tarik. While Nescafé has been around for decades, Wonda is showing that authenticity—and the real taste of Malaysia—still rules!

We pulled out all the stops with five major initiatives, including a Guinness World Record-breaking leporello magazine, a nationwide radio takeover across 17 stations, and the massive on-ground event, Keretapi Sarong. Wonda united Malaysians, celebrating local culture while firmly establishing itself as the true “Selera Original Malaysia.”

The results were nothing short of iconic. Wonda surged with a 10% sales increase, earned a Guinness World Record, and reached over 25 million Malaysians. It also claimed its highest market share in three years and boosted brand affinity and awareness, proving once again that Wonda is the true kopi tarik that Malaysians prefer.
