Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through film, has a strong sense of visual composition, and can transform raw footage into engaging and storytelling content. You will collaborate closely with our creative teams to deliver film content for multiple formats: Youtube, TikTok, TV, Cinema etc
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate raw footage and review shot lists and storyboards
- Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product that’s suitable for TVC or digital usage or Cinema
- Use software to enhance video footage
- Identify ways to improve and enhance footage
- Implement effective storytelling techniques
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Suggest and implement appropriate special effects and music additions
- Collaborate with video production and creative team members
- Manage and organize media assets and project files, be systematic
- Stay up to date with video editing trends, techniques, and best practices.
- Adapt edits for various social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Explore AI for video and beyond, create new content with AI and emerging technologies
- Work rapidly, and ideate in real time
Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience focusing in the post-production process as video editor.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, especially for prepping assets for motion graphics.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, color correction and sound design is a plus.
- Solid understanding of post-production workflows and file management.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Can handle pressure and stress, calm temperament
- Interested in innovating and learning new technologies
